Call for Participation

Call for papers has now closed

The GNOME Users and Developers European Conference (GUADEC) invites you to participate on the 15th-21st July 2007 in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Papers are submitted on this web site. You will need to log in and then fill in the Submit Paper form. You should also edit your profile, so we know who are you and your interests and involvement in the GNOME project.

The deadline for proposal is Thursday 15th March. Successful candidates will be selected and notified by the GUADEC organizing committee. Unsuccessful candidates will still have an opportunity for their session to be scheduled during the Approach Weekend or After Hours.

As with last year the conference will be divided into 3 main tracks:

Catwalk
This track will showcase the success stories in GNOME, from large deployments throughout the world to demonstrations of some of the high quality GNOME applications.
Topaz
'Topaz' is the project name for the next generation GNOME desktop, our next big challenge. This track will focus on the future visions, plans and ideas.
Tangle
This track details many of the complex issues already affecting the desktop today, and how we may solve these going forward. This track will include a lot of work groups and BoFs.

There will be a range of talks formats, from the traditional hour-long talk, to workshops, debates and lightning talks.
